Darwin the Monkey - Who Is The King Of The Jungle?

Rock Solid Games and Screaming Duck Software have delivered us a funny game of the Monkey's fight against the Frogs. Darwin the Monkey is an action game that lacks some Darwin's theory of evolution for the adult gamers but would be perfect for kids.

Most of the levels are Banana Levels, in which your task is to get the required number of bananas.

As you find out from the story at the very beginning, one day the Frogs decided to try something new and have stolen the bananas of the monkey named Darwin. That was not their only crime. They also have taken a few eggs of the monkey's neighbour, the pelican. Now the monkey is to take revenge for the bananas and eggs. Most of the levels are Banana Levels, which means that in this levels you are to collect the required number of bananas. Every few levels you are going to play the Boss Level. It means that you'll have to fight the boss of the Frogs.

You have to jump on the crates thrown by the Frogs' Boss to get the required number of the bananas to fly away on the balloon.

The monkey is delivered on the balloon to every level. In Banana Levels there's always the Frogs' Boss somewhere up throwing the crates with bananas on you. The crates are totally harmless. You are to jump on them to break and get the bananas. Then you need to roll the bananas to the balloon, on which the required number of bananas is written.

There are usually other frogs on the screen. The ones with bows are dangerous but not much. You can make them kind of faint by jumping on them. Once you gathered the required number of bananas on the balloon it's ready to take you away.

In other levels you are to get an egg or to bring the eggs to the balloon or to gether all the fruit within a certain ammoint of time.

There are also other kinds of levels. One of them is when you need to get an egg that is somewhere up, which takes you to go through some challenges. The funny level is when there are lots of eggs on the screen and your task is to get them on the balloon. The eggs have legs and can walk and follow you. But the trick is that you can't jump too high cause it will break the eggs. There are also Bonus Levels, in which you are to collect all the fruit on the screen before the time runs out.

The graphics and music of the game are really good, very jungle-themed. The easy and repetitive game play make the game perfect for kids rather then for the adults and challenge-me gamers.
